Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the input and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email sent to us as needed to answer it. The message remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may record basic technical facts about that visit:
- Page-view timestamps
- Device type and operating system
- Your assigned IP address
- Browser type and version
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- A referring website, when one supplied the visit
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help aggregate traffic, such as popular pages and common exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some site functions behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site identifies how to reach the Holt County Sheriff's Department, Missouri courts, the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy. We do not control a partner's retention, processing, or sharing choices, so review its terms before entering a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Holt County government, Missouri Case.net, MSHP, other public agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their systems to track activity across websites for targeted advertising. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be received by:

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied data, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary by residence. In Missouri, the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, Chapter 407 RSMo, supplies consumer-protection rules. The Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, governs public government records, and §43.506 RSMo addresses criminal-history dissemination. Those public-record laws do not turn this private site into a government custodian. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request deletion of eligible data
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of processing where applicable law supplies that right
