These conditions govern access to and use of this website. Visiting a page, reading its content, or using a search feature signals acceptance of all terms below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no connection to a local, Missouri, or federal government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service designed for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its role is to identify Holt County and Missouri criminal-record resources. It is neither a private-investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site operating independently of government. It does not store official records, retrieve a record, conduct an official check, or file documents for a visitor.

Its content directs readers to Holt County custodians, Missouri courts, the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside tools that may support personal research.

Missouri Sex Offender Registry data is published for safety awareness, not vigilantism. The registry itself warns that using its information to facilitate a crime is illegal, and §589.425 RSMo addresses registration violations.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce consumer reports, credit files, or official background checks. Our advertising partners do not turn this site into a screening service. Data from these pages or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Evaluate creditworthiness or insurance eligibility
  • Make an employment decision
  • Screen a tenant or housing applicant
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A lawful regulated check must come from the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA, as appropriate.

Site content is not legal advice. General information about Holt County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Missouri expungement law applies to a specific person. Consult a licensed Missouri attorney for legal advice.

Missouri's public-record rules, including Chapter 610 RSMo and criminal-history dissemination provisions in §43.506 RSMo, govern public agencies and do not make this private site a government custodian.

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend or end access at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be adjusted only as far as needed for enforcement.
